Rubix Solutions is seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineers to support one of our Defence clients in Adelaide. This Above-the-Line engagement offers the chance to work at the forefront of Defence capability, contributing to mission-critical projects in a collaborative, high-security environment. NV1 or NV2 security clearance required Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will deliver systems engineering expertise across requirements, design, integration, and verification & validation (V&V). Responsibilities include: Developing and updating baseline and interface specifications (FBL, ABL, IRS) within DOORS. Building and maintaining end-to-end requirements traceability across the system database. Performing system design and trade studies to ensure architecture aligns with performance and integration requirements. Managing and updating the DOORS database and requirements management plan. Conducting V&V activities: drafting test procedures, analysis reports, and supporting demonstrations. Preparing Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRM) for specifications and IRSs. Initiating and implementing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to deliver system enhancements. Contributing to working groups for ship infrastructure design and installation. Compiling Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) for certification and supporting certification forums with Navy, CoA, and other stakeholders. Preparing technical deliverables, documentation, and presentation materials for system reviews. Developing and maintaining architecture design documents using digital engineering methods. Supporting mission engineering capability allocations into the system architecture and presenting solutions to stakeholders. What we’re Looking For Degree qualified in engineering (or equivalent industry experience). At least 4 years’ experience in systems engineering. Strong capability in requirements management with DOORS®. Practical knowledge of Defence programs and systems, with the ability to adapt, improve and enhance outcomes.
